Our policies and political way of being and knowing sits within our Kaupapa (collective drive) derivative to the Kawa (guiding philosophy) and actioned in the Tikanga (guided behaviour) processed.
In the Creation Story/Te Orokohanga o te Ao everything derives in and of the spiritual elements and so it is integral to maintain spiritual harmony.
Through Te Orokohanga o te Ao processes are of Karakia, Pōhiri and Rāhui. These ensure the preservation, protection and maintenance of Te Ao Rongoā.

Te Ao Māori Qualifications
We are qualified by those who believe in the rongoā we provide and service. Whānau, Whānau Whānui, Whakapapa, Tinorangatiratanga, Kaitiakitanga and our Atuatanga are some of the important sources of whom we interconnect with who guide rongoā as a practice.
Rongoā Qualifications- Rongoā Diploma Level 5 2019 & Rongoā Certificate Level 4 2020. From Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, Whirikōkā.

Shipping
We prioritise biodegradable packaging over plastic as much as possible using paper wrapping.
We use masking tape instead of plastic tape.
We are always looking for reusable boxes and cardboard for packaging.
We find the most affordable shipping services to make it cheaper for our customers.
We have found a shipping service that is also friendly and supports our reuse and biodegradable efforts.
Delivery
Deliveries will be contactless and we will be wearing masks.
Sanitiser will be used by us during drop offs.
We make deliveries for the Gisborne City region for $5 per delivery.
Pick-up
Pick-up is also available and is great because it is free.
We will have a QR code available for tracing.
COVID-19
We will not be working if we have any symptoms.
We will be testing and if positive we will let customers know online that we are temporarily closed.
We will provide a round about date for re-opening.
We will thoroughly sanitise our home if this were to happen.
We will inform online when we re-open.
We will follow COVID-19 protocol.
Harvesting and Gathering
We will clean our tools after each use.
We will wear safety shoes and safety glasses.
